We’ve already seen the SB Dunk Low emerge from Nike’s “Be True” line this year, and now we have a comprehensive look at the collection. The Cortez, the Oneota sandal, and accompanying gear were unveiled today by the Swoosh as part of the 2022 “Be True” collection.
According to Nike, the pieces incorporate the rainbow colors of the Pride Flag to honor the LGBTQIA2S+ community’s diversity. The sneaker has a white foundation with vivid embellishments throughout the designs. Nike’s support for the LGBTQIA2S+ community goes beyond product releases. Athlete Ally, the Out Foundation, the GenderCool Project, LGBT SportSafe, and GLSEN are among the LGBTQIA2S+ organizations to which the Swoosh has donated $2.7 million since 2019.
On June 22, the 2022 Nike “Be True” apparel collection will be available on Nike.com and at select shops, while the capsule’s footwear will be available on SNKRS for $70 to $115.
