Nowadays, the sneaker world pays greater attention to newer ideas from adidas, especially when it comes to the lifestyle division of the company. The NMD S1 is one series that has steadily increased the range of its products, and it appears that a new variation is in the works as Pharrell was recently photographed wearing a future model at the Billionaire Boys Club x New York Yankees launch.
According to this first glance, the original shape is being maintained, but the upper has a more modern appeal. The quarter panels of knitted uppers are without any Three Stripes branding and are instead covered with a large Humanrace logo that covers almost the entire lateral wall. The bright blue color that appears on the heel counters and back ends of the sole pieces in this particular version contrasts with the softer beige knitted uppers and laces. The shoes’ toothy treading, which is probably made of repeated Trefoil logos like its forerunners, can be seen when viewed from the side.
In the upcoming months, more details on this new product are expected to emerge.
