by Ferano Sharman

With a special extended edition, Big Sean is celebrating the tenth anniversary of his DETROIT mixtape.

All of the original and additional tracks are included on the re-release, with the exception of “Do What I Gotta Do” featuring Tyga. However, the special release also comes with a brand-new bonus track called “More Thoughts” and a unique, limited-edition CD which can only be purchased from the Def Jam store.

Between his debut studio album ”Finally Famous” and its follow-up ”Hall of Fame”, Sean Don first released ”DETROIT” for free. Along with production work from Hit-Boy, Da Internz, Lex Luger, Southside, and KeY Wane, it featured high-profile guest appearances from J. Cole, Juicy J, King Chip, French Montana, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, Common, Young Jeezy Snoop Lion/Snoop Dogg, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Jhen√© Aiko, James Fauntleroy, and Mike Posner. In September 2020, he released ”DETROIT 2” as a studio album as a follow-up.
